Financial Services
Community banks, credit unions, wealth advisors, RIAs, and insurance agencies. Examiner-ready records. Retention defensible against the OCC, FDIC, FINRA, and state regulators.
Banks · Wealth · InsuranceWe run records and information management as a managed service — for organizations whose records have rules, regulations, retention requirements, or just don't fit on a shared drive anymore. Strategy, compliance, AI-enabled workflows, and a Fractional Director, all in the monthly fee.
Every established business accumulates information debt. Contracts in filing cabinets. Client records scattered across three systems. Email archives nobody has mapped. SharePoint sites abandoned by employees who left years ago. Retention schedules that exist only in someone's head — or don't exist at all.
Most leaders tolerate this until something forces a reckoning. By then, the gap is expensive to close — and rarely closes cleanly under pressure.
We exist for that moment. And — better — for the moments before it.
One service. One provider.
One monthly fee.
Consultants advise and leave. We are responsible for the outcome — month after month.
Covers initial assessment, records inventory, policy development, system configuration, and onboarding work to bring you into the service.
Covers ongoing governance, compliance oversight, advisory access, regulatory response support, and your dedicated Fractional Director of Records and Compliance.
Operational records services — scanning, off-site storage, retention management, secure destruction — scoped into each engagement based on need.
Our service is designed for businesses that need executive-level governance and the operational capability to deliver on it. Strategy without execution doesn't pass an audit. Operations without strategy doesn't survive scrutiny. We provide both.
Document conversion and digitization. Off-site physical records storage. Retention schedule execution across physical and digital records. Secure destruction with certificates of compliance. Scoped into each engagement based on need.
No packages. No feature gating. Every engagement includes the same managed platform, the same Fractional Director leadership, the same advisory access, and the same support — at every level of service.
A note on what's always included.
Every engagement, regardless of size, includes unlimited users, unlimited integrations, and unlimited document and data automation on our managed platform. We don't gate features by tier, charge per seat, or throttle usage. If you need more departments, more storage, or more Fractional hours next quarter than you need this quarter, we adjust. If you need less, we adjust the other way. The one monthly fee is exactly that — one fee, designed to grow and shrink with you.
We've spent two decades inside four regulated verticals. We know where the exposure lives — not theoretically, but the specific exposure that surfaces in audits, examinations, and litigation.

Banks · Wealth · InsuranceLaw firms, accounting firms, healthcare practices. Client records governance that survives partner transitions, malpractice carrier reviews, and discovery requests.

Districts · ESAs · Public SectorQuality records, supplier documentation, ISO compliance, and regulatory submissions. Process the volume; preserve the audit trail; stay current with industry standards.
QMS · Supply Chain · ComplianceOur practice is led by a founder with 35+ years of business ownership and an accounting degree — and a third-generation records management heritage that goes back nearly a century. When we sit at your leadership table, we are not theorizing about the operating environment. We have lived it.
Financial services, legal and professional services, K-12 education, manufacturing. We speak the regulatory language of each vertical and understand where the real exposure lives — not the theoretical exposure consultants discuss, but the specific exposure that surfaces in audits and examinations.
Our AI pipelines process tens of thousands of document pages each month using current cloud infrastructure. When we discuss AI-enabled document workflows, we describe work we have built, deployed, and operated — not a roadmap.
Strategy. Governance. AI workflows. Operational records work — scanning, storage, retention, destruction — all under one roof. Our clients manage one relationship, not five. The strategist and the operator are the same firm, with the same accountability for the outcome.
Gary Conner
Founder & Fractional Director of Records and Compliance
Records management has been the family work for nearly a century. I'm the third generation to make a career of it — and the first to build it for a world where records live across filing cabinets, cloud platforms, and AI workflows all at once.
I founded Conner Business Systems in 1990 with an accounting degree and a conviction inherited from two generations before me: that how a business manages its information is how it manages itself. Sloppy records aren't a back-office problem. They're a leadership problem — visible the moment a regulator, a buyer, or a court asks for something specific.
For 35+ years, I've sat across the table from owners discovering that truth under pressure. Bankers needing financials they couldn't produce on time. Sellers losing transaction value to diligence findings. Counsel scrambling for documents that should have been preserved differently. The cost of mismanaged records is rarely theoretical by the time it shows up.
The Records Resource Group is the practice I built to address it before it does. We work with regulated businesses to put records and information governance under managed care — not as a project, but as an ongoing service with a Fractional Director of Records and Compliance who is responsible for the outcome month after month.
If your records are a mess and the stakes are getting higher, I'd like to hear about it.
Most first conversations last 30 minutes. We'll learn what's keeping you up at night, share whether we think we're a fit, and — if it makes sense — schedule a deeper assessment. No pitch deck. No pressure.
Not ready for a full conversation? Take the 4-minute Health Check — an industry-specific diagnostic to see where your records stand today. No commitment, no sales pressure.
